In parallel to our day-to-day business, we dedicate substantial time
and effort to creating transparency in the market for private equity
and venture capital. Working closely with entrepreneurs and investors,
our analyses convince with a level of professionalism and expertise that
purely market research or information services are unable to match. We
have conducted a number of highly respected studies, some of which were
sponsored by leading institutions such as Deutsche Telekom, Bayerische
Landesbank or the European Investment Bank:
Together with the VDI nachrichten newspaper, we set up the Venture
Capital Panel in 1999 as market barometer for the VC sector. In the
meantime, Handelsblatt and the Fondszeitung have also become our media
partners. As part of the VC Panel, early-stage investors report on their
activities in early-stage financing once a quarter. Our analyses have
established themselves in Germany as a business climate index.
